What We Do
Our Services
We offer culturally safe service, holistic family violence support to Aboriginal women & their children. Our support also extends to parents of Aboriginal children, as well as partners and ex-partners of Aboriginal people. We are proudly the first rainbow-tick accredited ACCO in Victoria. We strive to empower our community, and at the core of our work is the right to self determination.
We provide more than just advice and assistance regarding family violence. We can also assist with housing, financial difficulties, Child Protection concerns, school matters and so on. Our focus is on what our clients need. We call it Walking Beside Women.
All of our programs can also assist with referrals and advocacy to appropriate services, such as legal services, medical & health, drug & alcohol counselling, financial counselling & children's services.

Supporting our women in the justice system
We also work with our women while incarcerated through the Aboriginal Healing Unit at the Dame Phyllis Frost Centre (DFPC)and our pre and post release program - Relink and Reconnect at DPFC and Tarrengower Prisons. It's part of our commitment to walk beside our women where ever we need to be to continue to uphold and defend their rights.
